Teaching Map:

7.01 – Stories - Halfway: This week explores the midway point of the journey, the liminal period.  This is the not yet but not was that looks much like the cocoon.  It also includes a revisiting of the basic practices of the journey.

7.02 – Stories - Abandoned: This week’s teaching explores the symbols and signs God provides throughout the story that reveal His love.  Everything He does points towards reconciliation and relationship.

7.03 – Stories - Judge: This week looks at the concept of religion and how it plays out in humanity.  God’s desire is always for reconciliation and He provides us with ways of knowing we are forgiven.

7.04 – Stories - Mercy: This teaching explores the concept of justice and mercy.  In God’s kingdom true justice was mercy.  It was the restoration and recognition of the value of His creation.

7.05 – Stories - Celebration: This teaching explores the festivals that God calls His people to.  We are called to stop and celebrate the presence of God in our lives.

7.06 – Stories - That: This teaching explores the oppressive nature of religion, which is humanity’s attempt to earn God’s love.  What happens when we reject religion and instead embrace relationship?

7.07 – Stories - Economy: This teaching explores God’s economy and the completely forgotten Jubilee.  Within the Kingdom is this constant rule of mercy, forgiveness, and restoration.

7.08 – Work - Obstacles: This teaching continues the dialog on work and the obstacles that we encounter in the journey of spiritual formation.  What happens when we encounter the final obstacle?  Will we overcome?

7.09 – Stories - Blame: This teaching explores what it means to own our actions. Maturity and growth are only possible through the doorway of responsibility.  And when we do we can redeem consequence.

7.10 – Stories - Second: This teaching explores the concept of wandering.  What happens when we refuse to face our obstacles and miss what God is doing in our life?

7.11 – Stories - Done: This teaching explores the temptation of wanting to be done.  Once we arrive in the kingdom, God still has work for us to do.  We’re never finished.  Instead God calls us to begin addressing some of the deeper issues in our life that require us to clean house.
